Dr. Youhei Imoto, DPT

Owner & Certified Vestibular Therapist

Youhei was born in Illinois and raised in Japan. After finishing college in Japan, he moved to New York City in 2003. He graduated from the Master of Physical Therapy program at  Hunter College, City University of New York in 2008.  In 2010, he eared a postprofessional Doctor of Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University, State University of New York. He worked at Brooklyn Hospital Center and New York Hospital Queens (New York Prebysterian Hospital Queens) in acute care setting and the orthopedic out-patient clinic. In 2014, he became a Vestibular Therapist at Emory University certified by American Physical Therapy Association.

He moved to Oahu in 2015 and had since worked in a Home healthcare agency. 

In 2018, he established Imoto Mobile Therapy at your place of convenience.

He is fluent in Japanese and English and able to provide excellent care. 

Dr. Saki Kimura, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Saki is a highly-skilled Physical Therapist originally from Tokyo, Japan, now practicing in Honolulu, Hawaii. With over a decade of clinical experience, her focus lies in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. Saki is committed to using evidence-based techniques in her practice, providing personalized and comprehensive care to her patients. Her approach is holistic, targeting not only symptom relief but also long-term wellness, functional improvement, and quality of life. She holds advanced certifications in Manual Therapy and Neurological Rehabilitation, and maintains an active membership with the American Physical Therapy Association.

In her continuous pursuit of excellence, Saki frequently attends workshops and seminars to keep abreast of the latest trends and research in physical therapy. She believes in the power of patient education and engages her patients in the treatment process for optimal results.

Away from the clinic, Saki is a food enthusiast who loves trying out different cuisines from around the world. She considers her exploration of diverse foods to be a cultural journey that enriches both her personal and professional life. Most precious to her, however, is the time spent with her child, who serves as her ultimate source of inspiration and motivation. Saki balances her rigorous professional life with the joy and grounding that come from family, making her a well-rounded healthcare provider.

Dr. James Ablang, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

James earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology Exercises Science and a minor in Biology from California State University Long Beach. He received his Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Melbourne in Australia in 2018. He believes in a holistic approach to treatment, focusing on the person and not solely on the pathology. He incorporates the power of patient education, injury prevention and evidence-based practice in his interventions to optimize patient outcomes and well-being.

He has worked closely with a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist in California in managing neck pain, back pain and nerve related pains. James also has a strong interest in rehabilitating sports injuries and both orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. James emphasizes individualized strengthening and conditioning programs along with manual therapy to help his patients achieve their specific goals. He values his patient’s input and strives to empower them with greater understanding regarding their conditions and gives them the tools they need to live their best lives.

Outside of being a physical therapist, James is an avid paddler with the local outrigger canoe club. He enjoys hiking, backpacking, traveling, running, exercising, cooking, going to the beach and exploring places for coffee and food.

James speaks several languages: Ilocano, Tagalog and Spanish.
